FLEET SERVICE CENTER MECHANIC- First and second shifts
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Medium-level diagnostics
- Repairs on all vehicles and vehicle attachments including but not limited to:
- heavy, medium and light duty vehicles
- gasoline and diesel powered vehicles
- tractor trailers
- cars and pickup trucks
- Repair & diagnostics can include but are not limited to:
- Brake work
- repairing lights & electrical
- air and hydraulic systems
- exhaust systems
- battery and charging systems
- engine cooling systems
- suspension work
- drive train and chassis
- automatic and manual transmissions
- engine and engine accessories
- computer/sensor diagnostics
- fabrication and welding work
- trailer work
- cab air conditioning repair

REQUIREMENTS:
- Position requires heavy lifting
- The positions environment is uncontrolled temperatures, both hot and cold, inside and outside the facility
- Must have valid state-issued driver’s license
- Experience driving class 7 vehicles (commercial driver’s license a plus)
- Pennsylvania state inspection license (Not required, but a plus)
- Read, write and communicate well in English
- Must provide own Tool Box +Tools (1/2″ drive and below) (MOPAC will supply larger and specialized tooling)
- Section 609 refrigeration license (not required but a plus)
Shifts Available:
- Dayshift, Monday through Friday work week (occasional rare weekend work)
- Nightshift, Sunday through Thursday work week (occasional rare weekend work)
- 45-50 hour average work week
